Who should attend—in-person or online?

Cyber security-interested ship operators, maritime IT and OT systems manufacturers and integrators, specialist underwriters, cyber security consultants, government agencies involved in cyber defence or regulation, port authorities, peer academic researchers.

Pandemic pragmatism means we are committed to staging the Symposium as in-person/online hybrid.

It would be great to see you in person in Plymouth but we understand that some will not be able to travel. Please choose an in-person or online ticket when you register. In-person ticket numbers are limited due to space and any at-the-time social distancing protocols, so we advise early registration.

Organised by

Established in 2019 in partnership with industry, government and NGOs, the University of Plymouth has developed Cyber-SHIP Lab It is the worlds’ first and only maritime cyber-physical testbed featuring fully configurable physical twins of maritime navigation, communication, networking and control systems. Cyber-SHIP Lab has unparalleled capability to help build global shipping and critical supply chain cyber resilience. Our researchers exploit the Lab’s unique architecture to replicate vessel or port information, operational, communications and navigation systems. Using this—physical twin—testbed platform, we challenge and evaluate real-world maritime infrastructure vital to sustaining world trade and supply chains. Our research informs valuable maritime cyber resilience tools and training.
